 The
Mody Self-Priming Centrifugal Portable Fire Pumps
are available in electric motor/engine driven
versions.These pumps have been especially designed
for fire fighting and salvage operation. They
can also be employed for any de-watering job,
for pumping out flooded cellars & excavations
|
 The pumps
are light-weight & can be conveniently carried
by two men to the site of operation. It can also
be stowed in the compartment of trucks.
The pumps are available with two alternatives in
its prime movers viz.
- Electric motor.
- Engine.

 The pumps
can also be driven by diesel engines which are basically
four stroke, high speed, air cooled & rope start.The
impeller of the main pump is directly mounted on
the engine shaft thus eliminating the problems of
misalignment. These pumps are available either with
simple effective exhaust primer or alternatively
positive rotary pump primer.
The complete equipment is mounted on a sturdy tabular
wrap around frame with spring loading handles and
can be conveniently carried by two people to the
site operation. |
